This, Wanna’s favorite showcase, resulted in her having received the Award of Merit for Design Excellence at an international design competition at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles. Through an innovative concept to highlight bedding product for International Down Shops, WMA transformed their entire showroom into a springtime dell with live trees, fragrant flowers and plants. A willow twig canopy bed was layered in plump goose down and dressed in fine antique linens. The 10-panel acrylic on wood backdrop was painted by renowned fine artist, Daniel Sorenson, and photographed by Grey Crawford. This showcase received great media attention, as well as innumerable comments of awe and appreciation from visitors to the event.
